I have a headache.

You ever notice how when you have a headache, everything just seems like a billion times worse?

****edit: okay, so I don't necessarily have to have a headache to exaggerate.

The sun is out - Oh my GOSH it's so freakin bright outside!
It's a little warm - Geez it's like a thousand degrees out here!
Someone is rude to you on the phone - that was the MEANEST person I have ever spoken with in my life.
You get a little hungry - I'm freaking starving I think I could eat my own foot.
Work calls in and asks you to come in a little early - oh yeah right, like THAT's gonna happen.

Haha. I'm so spoiled.

Yes I have a ridiculous headache currently, but I've really got to stop letting it so ruin my mood.

I have found that a wonderful way to put any situation in perspective is to laugh at yourself. I'm sure if you asked my best friend, she'd tell you I thoroughly enjoy myself. Well, it's true. If you can't laugh at yourself, you're kind of screwed. :)

So even if you're in like the worst moment of your life...stop, take yourself out of it for a moment, and find some humor in it somehow. Trust me, it really does help.

I'm not saying belittle a situation, not by any means, but surely everyone overreacts at least a little bit.
(crickets chirping)
uhh..okay, well maybe it's just me then.

Either way, have a little fun! Have a laugh at your own expense! It'll probably lessen your chance for gray hairs if nothing else heh heh.
Can I Just say, Brett Favre is RETIRED. I promise.

About Me

Why are you reading this? Well, I'm not really sure. But I'm hoping that you'll read this and learn a little more about me and continue reading. I'll write about anything and everything, mostly my life, events that effect me, and where I hope to go from here. But as you'll soon learn about me... rabbit trails are not uncommon. So put on your seat belt, get to know some Sarah facts, and check your judgments at the door. :)

SoOoOo..... About Me

I have a strange, quirky, blessed life.

I've got epic friends. An amazing family. And a great job.

I live at home with my parents and I'm still in college, though here's hoping there's an end to that sometime in the foreseeable future. (The college part.. I love my parents. Though I know that day where I have to leave my comfortable happy nest will come someday too...)

My 100 pound labrador retriever sleeps with me in my bed in the house that I've lived in since before my earliest memory.

My family lives within a one-mile radius of each other.

My brother and I can mostly stand each other as long as we each have access to a different television. ;)

My best friend is pretty freakin epic and most people mistake her for my sister b/c apparently we look alike. I think it's because we're inseperable, but we'll go with the look alike thing if it makes people happy.

I have plenty of things I could complain about, but who doesn't? I'm not in a ranty mood right now, I'm in a pondering mood.

I love cheese. Cheese fries, blocks of cheese, cheese sandwhiches, mac n cheese, cheese curds.... CHEESE HEADS!...go packers! ... but I digress. There's that rabbit trying to get me to chase it again.

I used to drive this really cool truck with a rollbar, and then I went all conventional and decided a trunk and a backseat was much more cost effective and practical. It's kind of weird getting confused in a parking lot over which silver stratus is mine, but it's a good little car and the leather seats tend to repel my dog Koda's smell rather than retain it. Bonus!

I am a senior in college and I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I love writing. I'm a mass communications major. But I work in insurance. Dream job would probably be blogging about my opinion or working at Consumer Reports testing products and writing about them.

This probably shouldn't be towards the bottom, but this is just the order my thoughts are in tonight - I am a CHRISTIAN. I love Jesus, and fail daily to measure up to how I know I should be. Being a lowly human and whatnot. But God is my rock, and there's nothing I can't do with Him.

Why the title of the blog, you wonder?

Well, right now, I'm at the bottom. In more ways than one. Corporate ladder --> bottom, absolutely. Well, perhaps with my recent promotion, almost to the first rung. Maybe. I'm looking up though, someday I won't be paid hourly and I'll have vacation days and benefits... What else? Let's see... college? Definitely from the bottom looking up. I so long to be done and have that stupid little piece of paper in my hand that says "I did it! I finished all of the required worthless courses so now you can hire me!" and last but not least.... Earth. Yes, earth is definitely the bottom. Do you have any idea how epic Heaven is gonna be? Oh man. Dude. I'm lookin up towards that too.

So, if I haven't bored you yet, stick around. Enjoy life with me. See what happens. My life isn't boring. And I'm not unpassionate. If I care about something, you're gonna know.

=D

So...a little bit of me. Stay tuned!
